Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. Her appearances comprise All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of an United Auto Workers senior executive and a domestic worker, was raised by her four siblings. Although she was a child with a dream of becoming journalist, it was not until high school when Delaney started modeling. Following her move from New York City and gaining an experience working in commercials and commercials in New York did she achieve her dream of becoming aspiring court reporters. In 1981, she appeared as an innocent teenager in All My Children. Delaney is a well-known actress who has been involved in numerous TV movies, and dramas. As with her professional career, her personal life hasn't been easy or prosperous. The talented actor has been battling alcoholism and she has experienced two failed marriages.
